Ministries
Grace Baptist Church believes that it is important for believers to meet with one another on both individual and group basis for the purpose of mutual encouragement, growth and service. There are many opportunities provided throughout the church for weekly participation.
Sunday Morning Bible Studies
Our Sunday morning Bible studies meet from 09:30 to 10:30 each Sunday morning. Challenging lessons from the Word geared toward adults are taught and discussed as we learn and grow together in the Lord.
Women’s Ministries
Women’s Ministries at Grace Baptist Church are guided by the overarching truth that living as God’s people means nurturing a love of Jesus that actually results in service to others. (Matthew 22:37-39)
Friendships
We encourage friendships for mutual encouragement, growth and service to others. Some women join together with someone new, or with an old friend, to visit those who are sick. Others serve together by volunteering a block of “office time” each week to give administrative support to various ministry teams.
Koinonia
Our Sunday evening informal fellowship—including refreshments—meets on the second and fourth Sundays of each month at the church at 5:00 pm.
A children’s ministry meets at the same time in the same place.
Nursery Connections
Nursery connections are an important part of Sunday morning. Women are encouraged to use the time serving in the nursery to develop friendships that carry beyond Sundays into the week.
Conferences
Conferences are scheduled regularly with different emphases based on the opportunity and the need. Upcoming conferences are scheduled in the Events Calendar and may include conferences organized by others that we believe will be beneficial for our church.
Activities
Activities for adults including the whole church are scheduled from time to time and may include picnics, ball games, hymn sings and coffee houses that are designed to provide a context for outreach and fellowship.
